• Oversee all aspects of concrete production and placement, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards (e.g., ASTM, ACI), and client requirements.
• Conduct rigorous testing and inspection procedures on concrete materials (cement, aggregates, admixtures), fresh concrete (slump, temperature, air content), and hardened concrete (compressive strength, cylinder testing).
• Maintain detailed records of all testing and inspection activities, including test results, observations, and any non-conformances, and prepare comprehensive reports for project management.
• Strong knowledge of concrete technology: in-depth understanding of concrete mix design, testing procedures (slump test, compressive strength test, etc.), and quality control standards (e.g., ASTM, ACI).
• Data analysis and reporting: ability to collect, analyze, and interpret test data, identify trends, and prepare clear and concise reports on concrete quality.
• Problem-solving and decision-making: ability to identify and troubleshoot potential concrete quality issues, implement corrective actions, and make informed decisions to ensure compliance with specifications.
