Job summary

Northern Trust Manila seeks a seasoned Compliance Review professional to interpret current laws and regulations and provide guidance to partners on compliance risk avoidance. You will establish testing plans, define scope, and ensure adherence to applicable regulations and internal policies.

Responsibilities include conducting testing, documenting results, coordinating with Compliance SMEs, and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate-level knowledge in law, finance, or compliance and related fields.
• Experience in compliance testing, monitoring, or auditing is required.
• Certifications or advanced degree are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret laws and regulations for testing plans and scope.
• Conduct testing reviews and document results to ensure policy adherence.
• Engage with Compliance SMEs to address concerns and advise management.
• Follow policies and standards; track issues to closure with action owners.
• Develop relationships across first, second, and third lines of defense.
• May mentor junior staff and coordinate testing with Internal Audit.
