Job summary

RMR Personal Care and Cosmetics Manufacturing seeks a dependable driver and maintenance assistant to support transportation and facilities tasks. You will operate the company truck safely, deliver products on schedule, load and unload cargo, and coordinate delivery plans with relevant departments.

You will also perform daily vehicle inspections, basic maintenance, and assist with minor carpentry, plumbing, and general facility repairs, ensuring proper use and storage of tools.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the company truck in compliance with road safety standards and traffic regulations.
• Transport and deliver company products, materials, equipment, and supplies to designated locations on time.
• Ensure proper loading, unloading, and securing of cargo to prevent damage during transit.
• Plan delivery routes efficiently and coordinate with concerned departments regarding delivery schedules.
• Maintain professionalism and good communication with customers, suppliers, and company personnel.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the assigned vehicle.
• Check engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, tire pressure, lights, brakes, battery, and other essential vehicle components.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance, such as cleaning, checking fluid levels, and monitoring tire condition.
• Identify and promptly report mechanical issues, vehicle defects, or safety concerns to the immediate supervisor.
• Perform basic carpentry tasks, such as minor wood repairs, simple installations, and furniture or fixture repairs.
• Assist with basic plumbing tasks, including fixing minor leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing simple plumbing fixtures.
• Perform minor repair and maintenance work on company facilities, equipment, and office fixtures as assigned.
• Assist in troubleshooting basic maintenance issues and report repairs requiring specialized technical skills.
• Ensure proper use, care, and storage of tools and maintenance equipment.
