Job summary

Sumitomo Electric Group is seeking a qualified Occupational Health Nurse (RN) with ONHAP certification to support our health services in the Philippines. The role focuses on first aid, health assessments, medical referrals, and maintaining confidential records.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of relevant experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to coordinate with healthcare providers and staff while upholding confidentiality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN).
• With ONHAP Certification.
• With at least 1 year of relevant experience, preferably as a Company or Occupational Health Nurse.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and immediate medical assistance for illnesses, injuries, and workplace emergencies.
• Assess employee health concerns and coordinate medical referrals when necessary.
• Monitor employees’ health conditions and maintain accurate medical records.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with occupational health and workplace safety requirements.
• Maintain and monitor clinic medicines, medical supplies, and equipment.
• Prepare and maintain health-related reports, records, and documentation.
• Assist in implementing company health, wellness, and occupational safety programs.
• Conduct or support health awareness activities and employee education initiatives.
• Maintain confidential employee medical records and clinic documentation.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers, hospitals, and other concerned parties as needed.
• Provide administrative support for company health and safety activities.
