Job Summary
The Company Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within company facilities. This role ensures that all electrical systems operate safely and efficiently to support daily business operations. The Company Electrician will also conduct regular inspections, troubleshoot electrical problems, and ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Installation and Maintenance
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, lighting systems, and electrical equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of electrical systems to ensure proper functioning.
- Install electrical components such as circuit breakers, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures.
Troubleshooting and Repair
- Diagnose and repair electrical problems in buildings, facilities, and equipment.
- Identify defective components and replace damaged or worn electrical parts.
- Respond to electrical maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Preventive Maintenance
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
- Ensure that electrical systems are operating efficiently and safely.
- Monitor electrical panels, transformers, and power distribution systems.
Safety Compliance
- Ensure all electrical work complies with national and local electrical codes and safety standards.
- Follow company safety policies and procedures during electrical work.
- Maintain proper use of tools and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain records of repairs, maintenance activities, and electrical inspections.
- Report major electrical issues and recommend necessary improvements or upgrades.
- Assist in preparing maintenance schedules and reports.
Coordination
- Coordinate with other departments regarding electrical maintenance needs.
- Assist in facility improvement projects that involve electrical installations.
Qualifications
- Vocational or Technical Diploma in Electrical Technology or related field.
- TESDA NC II (Electrical Installation and Maintenance) is preferred.
- At least 2–3 years of experience as an electrician in commercial, industrial, or building maintenance.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, power distribution, and safety procedures.

- Good physical condition and ability to perform manual work
Working Conditions
- Work may involve climbing ladders, lifting equipment, and working in confined spaces.
- May be required to respond to emergency electrical repairs outside regular working hours.
