Responsibilities

• Inspect assigned vehicle for cleanliness and condition before use.
• Conduct periodic maintenance and report safety issues.
• Perform driving duties and log all trips.
• Ensure security and proper storage of cargo in vehicle.

Job description

• Attends to daily inspection (cleanliness and condition) of assigned vehicle before using it
• Conducts periodic maintenance of assigned vehicle and reports to the Supervisor any vehicle safety issues.
• Performs driving duties as assigned and properly logs all trips.
• Responsible for security and proper storage of cargo contained in the cargo compartment
• Ensures cargo are free of damage/ no signs of pilferage/ no missing item, and have proper and complete documents (ex., Delivery Receipt, POD, Packing List).
• When on field assignment, ensures that assigned vehicle is safely parked and locked/ closed.
• Ensures that vehicle keys are endorsed to security guard or assigned staff whenever vehicle is not in use.
