Qualifications
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is usually required. Some companies may prefer candidates with additional training or certifications in driving or safety.
- Valid Driver's License: A valid, clean driver's license appropriate for the type of vehicle being driven (e.g., regular driver's license for standard vehicles, commercial driver’s license for larger trucks or specialized vehicles).
- Driving Experience: Previous experience driving professionally or in a similar role is often preferred. Experience with a variety of vehicles may be beneficial.
- Clean Driving Record: A history of safe driving with no significant accidents or violations, as safety is a priority for the role.
- Physical Health and Stamina: Ability to drive for extended periods, handle physical tasks (e.g., loading or unloading cargo), sit for long periods, lift and carry packages, and maintain good overall health to meet the demands of the role.
