Job summary

Publicis Groupe Philippines is seeking a Commercial Finance Analyst to act as a finance strategist and key thinker for the business. You will be a core member of the Commercial Finance department, collaborating with Business, Management, Commercial, F&A, FP&A, and Shared Services to ensure best practices and deliver expertise across financial and commercial activities.

You will build partnerships with business leadership, influence decisions, and improve performance.

Responsibilities

• Timesheet reconciliation and time monitoring.
• Commercial business partnering with business leaders and teams.
• Work with Country Associate Commercial Finance Director on client deals, fee proposals, and commercial development.
• Drive controls on client commercials with timely actions.
• Assess risks with new initiatives and meet deadlines for rush pitches.
• Implement commercial SOPs and ensure adherence.
• Prepare quarterly client-level profitability reports and adhoc simulations.
• Handle client fees, contract management, monitoring and reporting.
• Produce other business unit or client-related ad-hoc reports as requested.
• Support the Country ACFD in other commercial finance initiatives.

Job description

As a Commercial Finance Analyst, your main role is to act as a finance strategist and critical thinker for the business. You will be a core member of the Publicis Groupe -PH Commercial Finance department, working collaboratively with Business, Management, Commercial, F&A, FP&A, Shared services functions to ensure best practice and deliver expertise in a cross-section of financial and commercial activities.

You will build partnerships and maintain strong relationships with the business leadership and their teams. You will be expected to lead financial and commercial matters, influence decision-making, improve business performance, develop and deliver service line strategy, delivering analysis and insights on business opportunities and ways in.

This role involves collaborating with other functions, clients, overseas offices. The role requires good communication, teamwork, leadership and strong analytical and project management skills.

• Timesheet Reconciliation and Time Monitoring
• Commercial business partnering
• Sit with Country Associate Commercial Finance Director to work out client commercial deals, strategic pitch alignments, fee proposals /commercial development.
• Drive controls on client commercials along with timely actions.
• Assess risks involved with new initiatives, ensure deadlines are met and be ready to handle rush pitch requirements.
• To implement the commercial SOPs and ensure adherence.
• Quarterly client-level profitability reports; including adhoc cluster profitability simulations as requested,
• Client Fees and Contract Management, Monitoring, and Reporting
• Other business unit or client-related ad-hoc reports as requested.
• Support the Country ACFD in other commercial finance initiatives.
