AboitizPower is seeking a Manager of Commercial Economics and Analytics in Makati to drive long‑term portfolio value through investment analysis, asset valuation, and revenue economics. You will integrate market intelligence with financial evaluation to support strategic growth, including Greenfield and acquisitions, while leading analytics across Wholesale.

The role requires advanced modeling, leadership, and deep knowledge of Philippine electricity markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline as listed.
• Minimum 3–5 years in power project finance, corporate development, energy economics, investment banking, or related fields.
• At least 1–2 years in asset valuation, forecasting, financial modeling, revenue economics, or portfolio analysis within power sector.

Responsibilities

• Bridge and ensure synergy between Market Analysis, Portfolio Analysis, Revenue Management, Corporate Finance, Strategy, and Business Development to align forecasts and valuation models with actionable insights.
• Oversee Analytics function, lead forecasting infrastructure, simulation platforms, automation initiatives, and data-driven capabilities across Wholesale.

As Commercial Economics and Analytics Manageryou will responsible for driving long-term portfolio value through commercial investment analysis, asset valuation, revenue economics, forecasting governance, and advanced analytics. The role supports strategic growth initiatives including Greenfield developments, Brownfield expansions, acquisitions, divestments, and portfolio optimization activities by integrating market intelligence, commercial forecasting, and financial evaluation into decision-making processes and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with Revenue Operations Teamto deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• To serve as a bridge and ensures synergy between Market Analysis, Portfolio Analysis, Revenue Management, Corporate Finance, Strategy, and Business Development, ensuring that commercial forecasts, simulation outputs, valuation models, and portfolio economics are aligned and translated into actionable business insights.

• Overseeing the Commercial Planning’s Analytics function, leading the development of forecasting infrastructure, simulation platforms, automation initiatives, and data-driven analytical capabilities that enhance forecasting accuracy, operational efficiency, and investment decision quality across Wholesale.

To Succeed in this Role, we need someone who:

• Financial & Valuation Modeling – Advanced capability in project finance, asset valuation, and investment modeling.

• Commercial & Revenue Economics – Deep understanding of electricity market economics, asset profitability, and portfolio value creation.

• Power Market Analytics – Strong knowledge of WESM, Reserve Market, bilateral contracting, and electricity market structures.

What You Will Need:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or other quantitative disciplines.

• Professional:
  Minimum of 3–5 years of cumulative experience in power project finance, corporate development, energy economics, investment banking, infrastructure advisory, commercial planning, or related fields.
  At least 1–2 years of direct experience in asset valuation, commercial forecasting, financial modeling, revenue economics, or portfolio analysis within the power sector.
  Demonstrated experience leading analytics, forecasting, simulation, or commercial planning functions.
  Proven track record of leveraging Python, R, SQL, VBA, or similar technologies to automate analytical and forecasting processes.
  Strong knowledge of the Philippine electricity market (WESM, Reserve Market, Retail Competition and Open Access, and bilateral contracting) is highly preferred.

• Leadership: At least 1 year experience in a leadership role
