Job summary

Our Clients is seeking an experienced Coding Quality Manager to lead the Coding Quality and Audit team, overseeing QA programs, audits, and education to ensure CMS compliance and adherence to official coding guidelines.

The ideal candidate has extensive orthopedic surgery and/or E/M coding audit experience, with strong leadership and a deep understanding of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and physician coding compliance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of coding audit experience in Orthopedic Surgery and/or E/M coding.
• 2+ years of supervisory or people management experience leading coding teams.
• Active AAPC credentials (CPC/CPMA/COSC/CEMC) and/or AHIMA CCS-P/CCS.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Coding Audit and Education team with coaching and oversight.
• Develop, implement, and maintain coding quality assurance programs.
• Conduct coding audits to ensure CMS and guideline compliance.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvements.
• Deliver coding education and training for providers and coders.
• Review external audits and prepare leadership reports.
