Job summary

CHAMP Cargosystems Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Technical Architect to design infrastructure architecture and drive cloud migrations. You will collaborate with network, storage, and sysadmins, define sizing, and ensure security and cost efficiency across hybrid clouds.

The role requires AT LEAST 5 years in system/network engineering or infrastructure architecture, with strong English, TOGAF/ISO27001 familiarity, and experience with AWS and Azure. Excellent analytical skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Teamwork and collaboration with other technical and non-technical teams.
• Networking knowledge and experience (CCNA/CCNP level).
• Understanding of TCP/IP, Routing (OSPF/BGP).
• Advanced networking: IP addressing, routing, switching.
• Knowledge of system monitoring tools and principles.
• Experience with application monitoring tools and principles.
• Windows Server and Red Hat Linux administration.
• Scripting with Linux shell, Perl, PowerShell.
• Understanding of SNMP, WMI, HTTP, SMTP, POP3, TCP handshake.
• SQL for ad-hoc monitoring/reports.
• Familiarity with ITIL and ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
• Service and customer oriented; strong problem solving.
• Autonomy and flexible hours; project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Technical Architecture & Monitoring Team to support CHAMP users.
• Create and maintain infrastructure architecture design docs.
• Update design drawings as infrastructure changes.
• Lead enterprise migrations from on-prem to Cloud.
• Oversee landing zones, modernization, migrations, security and operations readiness.
• Provide infrastructure costs for cloud solutions and refresh costs.
• Ensure CHAMP Architecture policy is applied.
• Document architecture changes for the Architecture Advisory Board.
• Coordinate with network team on components, load balancers, connectivity, DNS, IPs.
• Define monitoring checks with Monitoring team and implement new ones.
• Characterize existing apps and create monitoring checks.
• Quality control and ongoing architecture reviews.
• Manage IT asset inventory tool and ITSM integration.
