Navagis is seeking a GCP Architect to join its Asia Pacific operations, focusing on designing and managing Google Cloud Platform and Maps-based solutions. You will lead cloud architecture discussions, implement scalable infrastructure, and collaborate with sales for geospatial proposals.

The role emphasizes cost-efficient designs, 24x7 server reliability, and deep engagement with customers to understand architectural needs and deliver high-performance cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Cloud Systems Administration or similar.
• Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Responsibilities

• Design solutions for Navagis projects and implement based on customer feedback.
• Manage the Google Cloud Platform and Google Maps API console.
• Create and manage App Engine, Compute Engine, and Kubernetes Engine instances.
• Ensure cost-effective designs and meet SLO/SLI/SLA requirements.
• Engage in pre-sales cloud support for geospatial solutions.
