Job summary

Career Connect is seeking a Cloud Administration and Development Manager in Makati to oversee design, deployment, and optimization of cloud infrastructure. You will lead cloud initiatives, ensure security, scalability, and availability, and drive continuous improvement across services.

The role requires 5+ years in cloud infrastructure with leadership experience, plus familiarity with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. Strong emphasis on cost control and compliance. Based in the Philippines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure management or related roles.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
• At least 2 years in a leadership role managing cloud teams.
• Familiarity with cloud security protocols and cost optimization strategies.
• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure) and ITIL Foundation certification are a plus

Responsibilities

• Cloud Strategy Definition: Develop and implement cloud architecture best practices, optimizing services for scalability and performance.
• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Oversee cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and seamless scalability.
• Cost Optimization: Monitor cloud usage, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize resources for budget efficiency.
• Security Compliance: Implement security measures to protect cloud resources, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor cloud engineers, providing guidance and fostering skill development to align with organizational goals.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with cloud service providers, ensuring service levels and addressing performance issues.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on cloud trends and drive improvements in systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
• Adhere to quality and compliance standards as part of our Information Security Management System.
