Job summary

Vodafone VOIS is seeking a GCP Platform & DevOps Engineer with 4–8 years of experience in Google Cloud Platform and Infrastructure as Code practices. This role maintains and enhances GCP platforms using Terraform, supports CI/CD pipelines, and coordinates platform upgrades to ensure stability and scalability.

The position offers collaboration with global teams, cross‑functional stakeholders, and involvement in Agile delivery to drive operational excellence within Vodafone’s VOIS ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Terraform provisioning experience for cloud resources.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/GoCD or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage Google Cloud Platform environments using Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code.
• Create, modify and deploy cloud resources according to platform standards and governance.
• Support and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GoCD and related deployment frameworks.
• Coordinate platform upgrades and maintenance across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Participate in root cause analysis and resolution of platform incidents.
• Collaborate with global and local teams to implement scalable cloud solutions.
• Support Agile delivery and continuous improvement initiatives.
