Job summary

Philtech Inc. is seeking a Senior Cloud Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize our cloud-based network architecture in the Philippines. You will work on Azure and GCP, implement security controls, and drive automation through IaC and scripting.

The role requires 6+ years in network engineering with cloud focus, proficiency in Terraform/Ansible/CloudFormation, and collaboration with DevOps for CI/CD integration.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of network engineering experience with a focus on cloud networking.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; certifications are a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Azure or Google Cloud Platform and cloud networking services.
• Strong knowledge of IaC practices and scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
• Experience with security principles, network segmentation, and cloud security practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based network solutions on Azure and/or GCP.
• Implement robust security controls for cloud networks and data protection.
• Configure VPCs, subnets, load balancers, and CDNs; optimize performance.
• Develop automation scripts and templates using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Collaborate with DevOps to integrate network automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor performance and conduct capacity planning for scalable cloud networks.
