Job summary

Globe Telecom is seeking an experienced Infrastructure and DevOps engineer to manage enterprise-level server and cloud implementations, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure resolution within SLA. You will drive IaC, automation, and security hardening across multi-cloud environments.

Responsibilities include deployment, infra support during testing, vendor coordination, and creating implementation guides while collaborating with ITS teams to meet performance KPIs and project deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience working in system administration/ cloud implementations.
• Solid understanding of test methodologies, test design and test best practices to manage service performance KPIs and root cause analysis
• High familiarity with different infra technology
• Infrastructure as Code - AWS Cloudformation, Ansible, Packer
• Scripting Language - Python, AWS CLI, Boto
• Containers - Kubernetes, AWS EKS, AWS Fargate, PKS, GKE, Docker
• Different cloud providers - Google Cloud, Azure, etc.
• Continuous Integration - Git, Gitlab, Jenkins
• Continuous Deployment - Jenkins, Gitlab
• Continuous Monitoring - Jaeger, Grafana, Prometheus
• Continuous Testing - Gremlin (Chaos Engineering)
• Serverless - Lambda, API Gateway, Kinesis, DynamoDB, Aurora Serverless, AWS MKS
• Opensource DBs - MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB
• Infrastructure as a Code - Software defined network, Software defined storage
• Containers - Service Mesh
• Propose and design infra solutions based on system and user requirements
• Create infra implementation guide and work plans
• Assess and troubleshoot infrastructure issues
• Discuss technical recommendations and solutions with end-users and stakeholders
• Significant test automation skills around designing, building and maintaining test frameworks
• Good experience in defining test scenarios from requirements and acceptance criteria
• Good in time management, communication and collaboration
• Good in problem solving and handling pressure.
• Familiarity and knowledge with agile delivery methodologies

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to issues reported by clients, conducting root cause analysis and going through various testing scenarios for thorough resolution within the agreed SLA
• Provide infra-related deployment tasks and support during testing
• Cater to other groups and individuals' requests within ITS and ITS customers
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for server and cloud service fulfillment
• Create infra implementation guides and work plans; assess and troubleshoot infrastructure issues
