Job summary

Octal Philippines Inc. is hiring an IT Project Manager to lead technology projects, coordinating internal teams and external vendors to ensure on-time delivery within scope and budget. You will define scope, build plans, track progress, and report to IT management.

The candidate should have 2–3 years of IT project management experience and a bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field. This onsite role is based in Global City/Quezon City with standard hours and possible overtime.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of IT project management experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution of projects.
• Assist in defining project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients and staff to monitor progress.
• Ensure resource availability and allocation.
• Prepare and present regular project status updates to IT management and stakeholders.
• Report and elevate project issues to management as needed.
• Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using verification techniques.
• Track project performance to analyze successful completion of short and long-term goals.
• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risk.
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
• Create and maintain project documentation; sign off/transition to BAU.
• Meet with clients to clarify requirements and detailed briefs.
• Delegate tasks based on team strengths and experience.
• Meet budget objectives and monitor spending against the overall budget.
• Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs.
• Attend conferences and training to maintain proficiency.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
