Job Description
- A Clinic Assistant serves as the receptionist at a clinic. They are the first point of contact between a patient and the Doctor and are expected to provide customer service for a patient to have a satisfactory experience. They answer phone and email inquiries, set appointments, record patient information, take vital statistics during triage, and assist the Doctor with basic procedures and clerical duties. Clinic Assistants work at hospitals as well as private and community clinics.
Responsibilities

- Welcoming, assisting, and providing correspondence with patients.
- Conducting triage by measuring vital statistics.
- Keeping and updating patient records.
- Setting appointments and sending patient reminders.
- Processing clinic payments.
- Stocking clinic and recording inventory.
- Supporting doctors with various tasks.
- Sanitizing equipment and maintaining clinic safety.
