Job summary

Forvis Mazars in the Philippines is seeking a Bookkeeper to maintain accurate financial records for a portfolio of clients. You will process daily transactions, perform reconciliations, prepare monthly management accounts and VAT returns, and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of bookkeeping experience, familiarity with Xero or Sage, and a solid understanding of basic accounting principles.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of bookkeeping or accounts assistant experience.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero or Sage.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records for a portfolio of clients.
• Process day-to-day transactions including accounts payable and receivable.
• Bank and credit card reconciliation.
• Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts.
• VAT returns (where applicable).
• Ensure timely completion of bookkeeping tasks and deadlines.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and audit files.
• Liaise with internal team members and clients to resolve queries.
• Maintain organised and up-to-date documentation.
• Contribute to process improvements and team initiatives.
