Job summary

TLT Transportation Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Driver Class 4 to join our team at the Changi Airfreight Center. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods, maintaining records and upholding road safety and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a valid Class 4/5 licence, at least 2 years of delivery experience, good knowledge of Singapore roads, and professional customer service with strong time management.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 4/Class 5 driving licence issued by LTA (Singapore).
• Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations or accidents.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a driver in delivery or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore roads and traffic patterns.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple deliveries.
• Professional customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Physical fitness and capability to lift, carry and handle parcels of varying weights.
• High standard of personal conduct, reliability and commitment to safety.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and delivery management software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 4 vehicle safely and efficiently to transport goods and parcels to designated delivery locations
• Plan and execute delivery routes effectively to meet scheduled delivery times and customer expectations
• Load, unload and secure cargo appropriately to ensure goods arrive in good condition
• Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures or confirmations
• Perform pre-delivery vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues or defects promptly
• Adhere to all traffic regulations, road safety rules and company driving policies
• Communicate professionally with customers and handle customer enquiries or concerns regarding deliveries
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic vehicle maintenance as required
• Meet daily, weekly and monthly delivery targets and KPIs
