Job summary

AFRY is seeking a highly experienced Civil/Structural Engineer to join our Manila, Philippines team. You will perform design and layout for Solar and Wind power projects, conduct field surveys, and participate in FEED, feasibility studies and due diligence.

Responsibilities include civil design for roads, grading, drainage, and PV layout in 3D, with review of EPC plans and cross-functional coordination. Licensed civil engineers with 3+ years in power plants are preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed Civil Engineer required with three years of civil design experience.
• Hands-on design, construction and implementation of power plant projects.
• Knowledge of NSCP, DPWH DGCS, ACI, ASCE, AISC and related standards.
• Strong road design, earthworks, drainage and site grading expertise.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, PVcase, STAAD, SAP2000 or equivalent.
• Excellent analytical ability and clear technical writing.

Responsibilities

• Perform design and layout for Solar and Wind power projects through stages.
• Conduct on-site surveys for potential Solar and Wind developments.
• Engage in FEED, feasibility studies, and due diligence activities.
• Prepare civil design works including roads, drainage, grading, and drainage.
• Develop PV layout 3D scenes for PVsyst analysis.
• Review EPC contractor designs and update technical specifications.
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical and environmental teams.
