Job summary

Bureau Veritas | Marine & Offshore in Makati, Manila, PH is seeking a highly motivated Civil Engineer with proven experience in solar energy projects to lead civil works for PV installations. You will ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations and project timelines on active sites.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, a PRC license, 4–5 years in civil works (3+ in solar PV), and proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and STAAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC or equivalent) required.
• 4–5 years of civil works experience, at least 3 years in solar PV projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD and related design software.
• Willingness to travel and deploy to project sites on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage civil engineering aspects of solar PV projects from site prep to commissioning.
• Conduct site assessments, topographical surveys, and soil testing coordination.
• Design and review foundations for solar mounting systems (ground/roof).
• Collaborate with electrical engineers, PMs, and contractors for integrated works.
• Prepare and review drawings, specs, and BOQs.
• Monitor construction for safety, quality, and design compliance.
• Provide technical support during installation, testing and commissioning.
• Ensure timely reporting and documentation of progress and issues.
