Job summary

Vena Energy (Philippines) is seeking a licensed Civil Engineer for a project-based role supporting the CBOP Manager in wind farm civil works across foundations, roads and substations. You will review BOP designs, coordinate with Owners' Engineers and contractors, and prepare site reports while staying on-site during construction.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Civil Engineer.
• 3–7 years of civil construction supervision or engineering experience.
• Preferable exposure to renewable energy or wind farm projects.
• Ability to read and interpret civil design documents and drawings.
• Experience coordinating with Owner's Engineers, contractors and site teams.
• Familiarity with geotechnical, concrete and steel materials data sheets.
• HSSE awareness in construction environments and strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist CBOP Manager in monitoring civil construction activities (roads, foundations, substations) at site daily.
• Review BOP designs for compliance with project requirements and standards.
• Coordinate design reviews, construction monitoring, procurement, HSSE and deliveries with OEs and contractors.
• Participate in daily, weekly, monthly meetings and ad hoc discussions.
• Prepare site reports and review material test data sheets.
• Monitor variations in specifications and drawings; support documentation tasks.

Job Summary:

This is a project-based role supporting the CBOP Manager in monitoring daily civil construction activities for a wind farm project, including foundations, roads, hardstands, substations, and transmission line civil works. The role assists in reviewing BOP designs, coordinating with Owner's Engineers and contractors, preparing site reports, reviewing technical documentation, and participating in regular project meetings. Willingness to be site-based in Rizal Province is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist CBOP Manager in monitoring civil construction activities associated with roads and hardstands, and foundations performed by contractors at site daily

• Assist CBOP Manager in monitoring civil construction activities associated with substation facilities, foundations, roads, and transmission line civil works daily

• Review BOP design document to ensure compliance with project requirements, local and international standards, and best industry practice.

• Plan and coordinate with OEs and BOP Contractor for design review, construction monitoring, procurement and deliveries, HSSE implementation, etc.

• Participate and contribute to scheduled meetings such as daily, weekly, and monthly and/or other unscheduled meetings when the need arises.

• Assist CBOP Manager in preparing site reports and other documentation.

• Review site reports such as Geotech, concrete, steel, and other material technical data sheets.

• Monitor and evaluate variations in specifications and drawings.

• Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

• Must be willing to be assigned to Rizal Province

Pre-requisites:

• Must be a licensed Civil Engineer

• 3-7 years of relevant experience in civil construction supervision or engineering, preferably on renewable energy or power generation projects.

• Prior exposure to wind farm projects and Balance of Plant (BOP) civil works is an advantage.

• Ability to review and interpret civil design documents, construction drawings, specifications, and technical reports.

• Experience coordinating with Owner's Engineers, contractors, and site teams.

• Familiarity with geotechnical, concrete, steel, and other materials testing reports.

• Working knowledge of HSSE requirements in construction environments.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Willingness to work on a project-based assignment and be site-based for the duration of the wind farm construction phase.
