- Ensures the implementation of quality systems and procedures to avoid and minimize quality defects and complaints.
- Follows Standard procedures to prevent incidents and reduce risk personnel, product, and the environment.
- Performs chemical analysis to make sure that the quality of products comply the standards and specifications set by the management and clients.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Ensures complete and correct labels and packaging for every delivery made.
- Ensures that every product delivered meets the customers’ specifications.
- Minimizes source and propagation of quality defects.
- Contributes to the continuous improvement of the process.
- Conducts chemical analysis of various product parameters.
- Test raw materials before receiving, and finished goods before delivery.
- Implements the SOP’s together with the necessary protective equipment.
- Ensures the workplace is adequate to perform laboratory procedures.
- Provides an Incident Report and communicate with QA Supervisor for any type of incident within or outside the laboratory.
- Lessens chemical waste generated in laboratory.
- Utilizes usage of government-controlled chemicals.
- Prepares Certificate of Analysis (COA) for every product delivered.
- Provides records and back-up of all generated documents delivered to customers and received from suppliers.
- Maintains complete records of safety data sheets and labels for chemicals available in the laboratory.
- Ensures the accuracy and precision of results from analyses.
- Maintains the equipment’s operational capability through scheduled calibration and preventive maintenance.
- Ensures utilization of laboratory supplies.
- Monitors the frequency and usage of all equipment and consumables.
- Maintains cleanliness and order in the laboratory area.
- Responsible for the analysis of materials/chemicals used and produced in the plant (i.e., LAB, soft water, waste water, diesel, caustic soda, glycol, and LASA).
- Conducts quality inspection of ISO Tank, IBC, and drums for LASA delivery
- Responsible for the inventory, documentation, and record-keeping of files and reports related to laboratory work
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Graduate of any of the mentioned course: BS Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Environmental Science, Food Technology, or Agrochemistry
- Must be Licensed Chemist
- Has background in laboratory and/or production quality control and assurance work
- Has effective and accurate laboratory testing techniques
- Can work in shifting schedules and extended working hours
