JX METALS PHILIPPINES, INC. based in Biñan, Laguna, invites applications for a Chemical Technician (Registered). This full-time role supports our laboratory operations, conducting tests, inspections, and documentation to uphold quality and safety standards in chemical analysis.

Qualifications include a BS Chemistry or Chemical Technology, a valid Chemical Technician license, and willingness to work rotating shifts and holidays. Fresh grads are welcome if licensed.

Qualifications

BS Chemistry or Chemical Technology graduate or equivalent.
Licensed Chemical Technician is required.
Open to fresh graduates if licensed.
Willing to work shifting schedules and holidays.

Responsibilities

Conduct tests and/or inspections of chemicals and solutions based on documented procedures.
Ensure compliance to standard procedure in sample and solution preparation.
Ensure proper use and handling of laboratory equipment and chemicals.
Log and review test results accurately.
Prepare reports on test and inspection results.
Encode results in QA database system and save softcopies in prescribed file folders.

What You'll Be Doing

Conduct tests and/or inspections of chemicals and solutions used based on documented procedures
Ensure compliance to standard procedure in sample and solution preparation
Ensure proper use and handling of laboratory equipment and chemicals
Log and review test results accurately
Ensure clarity and completeness of analysis and test results
Prepare reports on test and inspection results
Encode results in QA database system and save softcopies in prescribed file folders
