Job summary

California Rehabilitation Institute in Century City/Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for a Per Diem Day Shift (7:00am - 7:30pm). The role offers a pay rate of $26.00 hourly and an extensive orientation program to support transition into our inpatient rehabilitation environment.

You will assist patients with daily care, monitor vital signs, manage oral intake, and help with mobility and transportation within the facility, contributing to high quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED accepted, or 3+ years related healthcare experience.
• Hospital CNA experience required, with an active CNA license in the state.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs, height, weight and demographic data.
• Assist patients with personal and daily care, such as bathing and oral hygiene.
• Deliver meals and document oral intake; feed patients as needed.
• Turn and position immobile patients; support mobility programs.
• Transport patients to designated areas as required.

• Deliver meals and snacks, feed patients who are unable to feed themselves and document oral intake
• Turn and position immobile patients safely while maintaining proper body alignment; participate in mobility program
• Transport patients to designated areas, such as to and from various treatment centers

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• Requires hospital experience as a certified nursing assistant
• Must have active CNA license in the state
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire

Post offer employment testing (POETs) are completed as part of the onboarding process and are to be completed before an employees first day of work.
