Job summary

UCT is hiring a Configuration Engineer I to join our team in Cebu. The role focuses on reviewing NOC/S.O configurations, managing BOMs and AVLs, and coordinating ECO/ECN processes to ensure accurate engineering changes.

The candidate will work closely with Product Engineers and internal/external customers to resolve configuration issues. Ideal candidates have an engineering degree, strong Excel, MS Office, and Adobe Acrobat skills, plus knowledge of engineering documentation and BOM reading.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering.
• Proficiency with MS suite and Adobe Acrobat. Advanced Excel knowledge.
• Knowledge with engineering documentation and document control procedures.
• Able to read technical drawing and mechanical BOM.
• Basic understanding of Industrial Equipment manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Review and ensure NOC and S.O configurations accuracy.
• Creating and submitting Engineering Changes through Agile.
• Coordinate ECOs/MCOs/DEVs/ECRs process internally with tracking.
• Submit Problem Report/Supplier Problem Sheet to customer for BOM issues.
• Ensure all affected parts and BOMs are included in CR/IR/PR or ECO.
• Understand scope of engineering change downstream.
• Set up and manage customer product information, BOMs and AVLs.
• Streamline BOM structure with Product Engineer for assembly control.
• Validate and upload customer doc packages to Agile system.
• Work with customers to resolve configuration issues.
• Generate list of new parts/revisions for sourcing for NPIs.
