Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years in brand management or trade marketing, with at least 3 years in people management.
  • Proven track record in multi-channel campaigns, analysis, and data-driven decisions.
  • Strong grasp of consumer behavior, branding frameworks, and product portfolio growth strategies.
  • Excellent cross-functional project management and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate and roll out integrated marketing plans across traditional and digital channels to drive brand awareness, revenue, and market penetration within assigned budget parameters.
  • Directly manage and coach team members, managing performance metrics, work planning, and building a high-engagement, results-oriented team culture.
  • Analyze consumer trends, shopper behavior, and competitive landscapes to convert data insights into winning category strategies.
  • Partner closely with Product Development, Sales, Trade Marketing, and Creative teams to ensure seamless NPI and campaign alignment.
  • Oversee category P&L inputs, optimizing marketing spend and evaluating campaign ROI to maximize top-line performance.

As the Category Manager, you are accountable for the commercial performance and equity of your assigned brand portfolio. You will develop multi-channel strategies, interpret consumer research to spot emerging trends, and lead high-performing teams to hit company targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Brand Strategy & Campaign Execution: Formulate and roll out integrated marketing plans across traditional and digital channels to drive brand awareness, revenue, and market penetration within assigned budget parameters.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Directly manage and coach team members, managing performance metrics, work planning, and building a high-engagement, results-oriented team culture.
  • Market Intelligence & Analytics: Analyze consumer trends, shopper behavior, and competitive landscapes to convert data insights into winning category strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Development, Sales, Trade Marketing, and Creative teams to ensure seamless NPI (New Product Introduction) and campaign alignment.
  • Commercial & Budget Management: Oversee category P&L inputs, optimizing marketing spend and evaluating campaign ROI to maximize top-line performance.
What You Need To Succeed
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 8 years in brand management or trade marketing, including at least 3 years in a direct people-management capacity.
  • Proven track record in multi-channel campaign planning, competitive analysis, and leveraging analytics platforms for data-driven decisions.
  • Strong grasp of consumer behavior, branding frameworks, and product portfolio growth strategies.
  • Outstanding cross-functional project management skills, strong presentation abilities, and proficiency in business tools (e.g., Google Workspace, analytics software).
