Responsibilities

Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change.
Operate registers, scanners, scales and credit/debit card terminals.
Balance the cash register and generate reports for credit and debit sales.
Accept payments, ensure prices and quantities are accurate and provide a receipt.
Handle exchanges and refunds promptly.
Maintain an accurate cash drawer.
Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
