Job summary

MR DIY Philippines is seeking a Store Cashier at Jumbo Jenra Sindalan (JBJS) to join our retail team. The role requires handling cashiering tasks, POS operations, and delivering quality customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, at least 1 year of cashiering experience, strong numerical skills, and reliable work ethics. Training will cover POS usage, payments, refunds, and customer support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related 4-year course.
• Experience in cashiering with POS preferred.
• Ability to provide quality customer service.
• Trustworthy, detail-oriented, and can work with minimal supervision.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar industry.
• Average communication and people skills.
• Computer literate.
• Willing to work in Jumbo Jenra Sindalan.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic math to collect payments and give correct change.
• Operate registers, scanners, scales and card terminals.
• Balance cash drawer and generate reports for credit and debit sales.
• Accept payments, ensuring prices and quantities are accurate; provide a receipt.
• Handle exchanges and refunds efficiently.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer.
• Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
