Job summary

MR DIY Philippines invites applications for a Store Cashier at the 7-Arts Building Cebu. You will operate registers, ensure accurate pricing, handle payments, issue receipts, and keep the checkout area clean and orderly.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree (business or any 4-year course), background in cashiering with POS experience, strong customer service, and reliability. Minimum 1 year in a related role and good communication skills are preferred; willing to work at Cebu location.

Qualifications

Background in cashiering, preferably with POS experience.
Ability to provide quality customer service.
Trustworthy, detail-oriented and can work with minimal supervision.
Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar industry.
Average communication and people skills.
Willing to work in Cebu City.

Responsibilities

Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change.
Operate registers, scanners, scales and credit card/debit card terminals.
Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales.
Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and providing a receipt to every customer.
Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner.
Maintain accurate cash drawer and keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
