Job summary

SSI Group is seeking a reliable Cashier to support daily sales at our Metro Manila boutique. You will handle payments (cash and card) with the attending Sales Associate, and verify price tags and product descriptions before checkout.

You will maintain the POS system, prepare CTR and OR reports, reconcile cash and card receipts, liaise with banks, and ensure counter area upkeep in line with store policies. Strong communication and client‑centric service are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as cashier in a retail setting.
• Education: college level, vocational graduate, or senior high school graduate.
• Proficient with POS systems and familiar with various payment methods (cash, card, etc.).
• ETP POS experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle client payments by cash or card with Sales Associate.
• Verify price tags and product descriptions before payment processing to avoid discrepancies.
• Maintain the POS system and coordinate with IT for issues.
• Prepare daily and monthly CTR, OR monitoring reports, and sales reports as needed.
• Reconcile cash and card receipts daily and report issues to the Boutique Manager.
• Liaise with banks on deposits and card usage issues.
• Keep up-to-date knowledge of bank promotions and apply at the point of sale.
• Issue credit memos, debit memos, and exchange forms per store policies.
