Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a dedicated Cashier for our Bonifacio Global City location in Taguig City, Metro Manila. This full-time role emphasizes delivering exceptional customer service at the point of sale and maintaining smooth checkout experiences for every customer.

You will process payments (cash, cards, digital wallets) using POS systems, scan and bag merchandise, and keep the checkout area clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Cashier or in a similar retail role.
• Proficient with POS systems and cash handling.
• Strong numeracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible in shifts.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food & beverage or grocery retail preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process payments accurately using POS systems and handle cash, cards, and digital wallets.
• Provide courteous, efficient service while maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Scan and bag merchandise correctly, ensuring items are handled with care.
• Keep checkout area clean and organized; restock supplies as needed.
• Identify and resolve transaction discrepancies promptly.
• Assist with stock rotation and shelf replenishment when not serving customers.
• Follow all company policies and health and safety protocols.
• Support teammates and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Handle customer queries and complaints professionally, escalating as needed.
