Job Description

• Greet customers, assist with purchases, and provide excellent customer service.
• Accurately operate cash registers, process transactions, and handle cash, credit, and debit payments.
• Scan items, verify pricing, and bag purchased goods efficiently.
• Ensure the correct amount of change is given, and receipts are provided to customers.
• Assist with restocking shelves, checking stock levels, and ensuring products are properly displayed.
• Apply promotional discounts, coupons, or loyalty rewards as needed.
• Keep the cashier area clean and organized, following health and safety standards.
• Answer customer questions regarding products, services, and store policies.
• Maintain accurate transaction records and balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Collaborate with fellow cashiers and store staff to ensure smooth operation of the store.
• Follow store policies, procedures, and security measures to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
• At least a high school graduate; vocational or college-level education is a plus.
• Previous cashier or retail experience is preferred.
