Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Greet customers, assist with product inquiries, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Transaction Processing: Accurately scan and process sales, handle cash, credit, and debit transactions, and provide correct change when necessary.
• Inventory Management: Ensure the cash register area is well-stocked with necessary supplies, and assist in inventory control as needed.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate transaction logs, receipts, and ensure all financial records are up-to-date.
• Security & Compliance: Adhere to company policies regarding cash handling, security procedures, and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED: Basic education required, with additional certification being a plus.
• Experience: Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to handle cash and transactions accurately with a high level of attention to detail.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
• Mathematical Skills: Basic math skills for calculating totals, providing change, and processing transactions efficiently.
