The Cashier is responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently. - Mathematical Skills: Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) for accurate cash handling and change calculation.
- Cash Handling: Ability to handle cash accurately and efficiently, including counting, balancing cash drawers, and following cash handling procedures.
- POS System Proficiency: Familiarity with operating a Point of Sale (POS) system, including scanning items, processing payments (cash, credit cards, debit cards, etc.), and issuing receipts.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure correct pricing, prevent errors, and maintain accurate records.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry items (if applicable), and work in a fast-paced environment.
