Job summary

Citi in Philippines is seeking an Cash & Collateral Management Intermediate Analyst to develop professional skills and work with cash flow, collateral, and treasury processes across domestic and international operations. This role requires analytical thinking and attention to detail.

You will collaborate with funding, credit relations, and operations teams, establish controls, produce complex reports, and support process improvements while providing sound judgment on data interpretation.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years relevant experience.
• Emerging as an expert in a specific skill set, business area or product but who remains focused primarily on daily execution.

Responsibilities

• Analyze cash flow, use of cash capital and collateral, transfer of funds (intra-company and with outside parties), bank account usage, bank compensation, and flow-through of funds.
• Establish controls for all cash & collateral movements and coordinate activities with auditing functions.
• Arrange lock-box and/or other security/control systems in domestic and international locations and work closely with various operations settlement areas to establish proper procedures and controls.
• Develop and coordinate data processing systems as they relate to the cash management group and the collateral operations group.
• Monitor portfolios and exposure to ensure collateral is requested from internal and external counterparties in a timely manner.
• Apply professional judgment, analytical thinking and data analysis tools to make recommendations to senior management to support process improvement.
• Resolve collateral-related problems independently and navigate complex issues with some latitude.
• Design and analyze complex reports related to collateral and margin processes for management requirements.
• Participate in projects, applying project management skills to support initiatives.

Education

Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
