Job summary

Green Horizon Fortune Trading Corp. is seeking a skilled carpenter to join our construction team.

You will read blueprints, measure and cut materials, and help build walls, floors, door frames, and fixtures on site. Ideal candidates have completed a carpentry apprenticeship or vocational training, can safely operate hand and power tools, calculate angles and quantities, and stand for long periods on busy job sites.

Qualifications

• Completion of carpentry apprenticeship, vocational school, or equivalent on-the-job experience.
• Proficient in safe operation of hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to calculate angles, dimensions and material quantities.
• Good physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and technical drawings for project dimensions.
• Measure and cut wood, drywall, plastic, or fiberglass to required sizes.
• Construct frameworks including walls, floors, doorframes, staircases, and roofs.
• Install fixtures such as cabinets, trim, windows, and doors.
• Perform repairs by inspecting and replacing damaged components.
• Follow safety rules and wear protective gear on job sites.
