Job summary

Phil. Rigid Construction Corporation is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our construction team in Tayud, Consolacion, Cebu.

This full-time role contributes to the successful delivery of our projects and requires precision and safety. Responsibilities include measuring, cutting, and fitting wood and other materials, constructing frames and fixtures, installing doors/windows/cabinets, and finishing surfaces.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hands-on carpentry experience in construction.
• Strong woodworking knowledge and safe tool handling.
• Ability to read architectural drawings and blueprints.
• Certifications in carpentry or related trade (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials using hand and power tools.
• Build and install frames, studs, and other wooden structures per plans.
• Make and install doors, windows, cabinets, and fixtures.
• Sand, stain, and finish surfaces to a clean, smooth look.
• Ensure quality and safety compliance on site.

About the role Phil. Rigid Construction Corporation is seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter to join our construction team in Tayud, Consolacion, Cebu. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in the successful delivery of our construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials using hand tools and power tools.

• Build and install wooden frames, wall studs, joists, and other parts based on plans and building rules.

• Make and install doors, windows, cabinets, shelves, and other wooden fixtures.

• Sand, stain, and apply varnish to wooden surfaces for a smooth and clean finish.

• Check the work to make sure it is accurate, good quality, and follows safety rules and project requirements.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Carpenter in construction or a related field, with at least 2-3 years of hands-on experience

• Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and construction methods

• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively

• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and blueprints accurately

• Certifications in carpentry or related trade qualifications (preferred)
