Job description

The Sales Staff Driver is responsible for delivering LPG products to commercial clients, retail outlets, and dealers while promoting sales, collecting payments, and maintaining route efficiency. This role combines safe driving, customer service, and frontline sales execution to support the company’s revenue and service goals.

Principal Accountabilities
In addition to following ESGVI’s policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include but are not limited to:
Sales & Customer Engagement
  • Promote LPG products and services during deliveries
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally
  • Issue official receipts and submit daily sales reports
Delivery & Route Management
  • Safely transport LPG cylinders and merchandise
  • Conduct pre-delivery truck inspection checklist
  • Follow assigned delivery routes and optimize turnaround
Cash Handling
  • Collect payments and reconcile daily cash sales
  • Submit fuel monitoring and petty cash documentation
Inventory Coordination
  • Ensure proper handling of returned or loaned cylinders
  • Proper turnover of backload to plant operations
Asset & Store Support
  • Maintain cleanliness of delivery vehicle
  • Report any vehicle or equipment issues for maintenance
OHSE Conformance
  • Comply with all safety protocols during delivery and customer interaction
  • Participate in OSHE programs and report hazards or incidents promptly
Compliance & Documentation
  • Ensure all delivery and sales activities comply with company policies and regulatory standards
  • Maintain updated route logs, delivery confirmations, and customer feedback records
Others
  • Perform additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by leadership to ensure alignment with company goals, policies, and evolving business needs
