Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional AutoCAD/CAD drafting experience.
• Strong 2D CAD drawing skills; 3D CAD experience a plus.
• Countertop, kitchen, cabinetry design experience preferred.
• Knowledge of countertop layouts, dimensions, seams, edges, backsplashes, and fabrication details.
• Proficient in CAD layers, line types, dimensions, offsets, references, and drawing standards.
• Ability to translate design requirements into accurate technical drawings.

CAD DESIGNER – COUNTERTOP

Position Overview
Responsible for creating, developing, and modifying detailed CAD drawings for countertop projects based on architectural plans, design specifications, measurements, and project requirements. The CAD Designer ensures that all drawings are accurate, detailed, and production-ready while coordinating with sales, design, and project teams to resolve design issues and meet project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, measurements, and design requirements for countertop projects.

• Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for countertops using AutoCAD.

• Develop accurate countertop layouts, including dimensions, profiles, seams, cutouts, edges, backsplashes, and other required details.

• Prepare and modify CAD files based on site measurements, customer requirements, and design changes.

• Ensure proper line types, layers, dimensions, reference points, and drawing standards are maintained.

• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and constructability before submission or production.

• Incorporate revisions and design changes accurately and within required timelines.

• Coordinate with sales, designers, project coordinators, and other teams to clarify design requirements and resolve drawing issues.

• Review architectural plans and identify potential conflicts, missing information, or design concerns.

• Prepare final CAD drawings and documentation for fabrication and installation.

• Maintain organized electronic files and follow proper naming and document‑control procedures.

• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications and company standards.

• Manage multiple CAD projects and prioritize work according to deadlines.

• Perform quality checks to minimize errors, rework, and production issues.

• Communicate professionally with internal teams and US-based clients when clarification is required.

• Perform other CAD/design-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in AutoCAD/CAD drafting and design.

• Strong experience creating detailed 2D CAD drawings; 3D CAD experience is an advantage.

• Countertop, kitchen, cabinetry, millwork, architectural, or related construction design experience is highly preferred.

• Knowledge of countertop layouts, dimensions, cutouts, seams, edges, backsplashes, and other fabrication details is an advantage.

• Excellent understanding of CAD layers, line types, dimensions, offsets, references, and drawing standards.

• Ability to interpret design requirements and translate them into accurate technical drawings.

• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new CAD/design software and company systems.

• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
