Job summary
HRTx Inc. is seeking a Process Engineer to develop, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes for cable and wire harness production.
You will work with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Engineering to support NPI, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in manufacturing engineering, strong lean skills, and experience in electronics/cable industries.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering or Production Engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in cable assembly, wire harness, automotive, electronics or precision manufacturing is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, APQP/PPAP, Process Validation, and root cause analysis.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, validate, and optimize manufacturing processes for cable and wire harness production.
- Establish SOPs, work instructions, process flow diagrams, and manufacturing docs.
- Support NPI activities including process development, tooling, pilot builds, and production readiness.
- Investigate defects and deviations, implement CAPA, and support line balancing.
- Drive Lean and CI initiatives to reduce waste and improve OEE, yield, and productivity.
