Job summary

GR8 Global Philippines is seeking a CAAS Associate to support client accounting and advisory services. You will utilize US GAAP knowledge, maintain high-quality workpapers, and deliver accurate financial reports in a client-facing environment.

Onsite Makati work is required in the first year, with night shifts and hybrid flexibility considered thereafter. You should have 3+ years in accounting, strong Excel and familiarity with QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite to ensure timely, reliable outputs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably with exposure to US accounting and client-facing services.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial statement prep.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite and Microsoft Excel.
• Onsite work in Makati required for the 1st year; night shift required.

Responsibilities

• Assist day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, month-end close support, and reporting.
• Prepare and maintain workpapers, schedules, and documentation for client deliverables.

Job Summary:

The CAAS Associate will support the client accounting and advisory services team in delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality accounting services to clients. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with a solid knowledge of US accounting practices, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a client-service environment.

How You'll Make An Impact

• Assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, account reconciliations, month-end close support, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and maintain accurate workpapers, schedules, and documentation to support client deliverables.
• Support the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and other accounting advisory outputs.
• Collaborate with senior team members to resolve accounting issues, improve processes, and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Maintain awareness of applicable accounting standards, client requirements, and internal quality expectations.

Qualifications

Your Desired Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a relevant field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably with exposure to US accounting, public accounting, outsourcing, or client-facing accounting services.
• Good understanding of US generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite, and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Onsite work in Makati required for the 1 st year; Flexibility may be provided during typhoons, severe weather advisories, natural disasters, or similar emergency situations.
• Night shift required

• Experience working with US-based clients or offshore accounting teams.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate effectively in a hybrid-remote work setup.
