Job summary

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Functional Analyst.
• Experience in elicitation, functional analysis, and detailed documentation.
• Hands-on with APIs, system integrations, data mapping, data analysis, and reconciliation.
• Experience creating FSDs, process flows, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum, Hybrid, or Waterfall.
• Banking/financial services experience; payments and cards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements elicitation, analyze, validate, and document business and system requirements.

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Business / Systems Analyst to lead requirements elicitation, functional analysis, data mapping, API analysis, and reconciliation definition during the discovery phase. The role will translate business requirements into clear, detailed, and build-ready functional specifications while working closely with Business, Product, Architecture, Engineering, Operations, and PMO teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, validate, and document business and system requirements through workshops and stakeholder discussions.

• Analyze current and target-state processes, workflows, business rules, data flows, and system interactions.

• Develop Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), process flows, use cases, acceptance criteria, and business rules.

• Create source-to-target data mappings, transformation rules, data dictionaries, and API functional specifications.

• Define reconciliation logic, matching criteria, exception handling, controls, and reporting requirements.

• Work with Solution Architects and Engineering teams to ensure requirements align with solution designs and technical scope.

• Maintain requirements traceability and support reviews, estimation, governance, and build-team handover.

• Identify requirement gaps, dependencies, risks, and downstream impacts.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Functional Analyst.

• Strong experience in requirements elicitation, functional analysis, and detailed documentation.

• Hands‑on experience with APIs, system integrations, data mapping, data analysis, and reconciliation processes.

• Experience creating FSDs, process flows, business rules, and acceptance criteria.

• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum, Hybrid, and/or Waterfall methodologies.

• Experience working with Architecture, Engineering, Product, and Business stakeholders.

• Banking or financial services experience highly preferred; payments and cards experience strongly preferred.
