Job summary

A leading logistics company is seeking an Account Manager in Metro Manila, Philippines. This role involves data acquisition and processing, providing support to Junior Account Managers, and working closely with account owners. Candidates must possess a university degree, a solid command of English, and intermediate MS Excel skills. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform defined and assigned customer support activities.
  • Identify and communicate issues with Account Owner.
  • Complete tasks according to deployed documentation.
  • Establish communication with stakeholders and departments.
  • Update documentation related to the provided process.
  • Provide 1st level support for data quality queries.
  • Suggest improvements to performed processes.

Skills

English language at least at a B2 level
Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel

Position Overview

Account Manager works on data acquisition and data processing, delivering defined reports to the clients with the highest possible quality and correctness within the fixed time frame. Account Manager supports Junior Account Managers on daily basis and is responsible for their tasks checking. Able to work independently, estimate and plan own tasks with accepted accuracy. Trains new team members. Maintains process descriptions together with Account Owner. Works with customer or non‑facing support on AO activities; rate requests, rate card maintain, fuel updates, Spot quotes, invoice audits etc

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Perform defined and assigned customer and non‑customer facings support activities on behalf of the Account Owner.
  • Identify and communicate issues / challenges with the respective Account Owner.
  • Completing assigned tasks according to deployed documentation for the enrolled accounts in scope.
  • Established communication with the Account Owners, Stakeholders and globally located departments.
  • Updating documentation related to the product provided process.
  • 1st level support for the queries related to the data quality in specific reports.
  • Working on problems/projects from moderately to considerable complex scope.
  • Proposing improvements/optimizations of performed processes and its implementation once agreed with the supervisor
  • Providing trainings to other team members. Buddy for newcomers.
  • Sharing his/her point of view regarding performed tasks/processes in a constructive manner
  • Sound and proven knowledge of function’s principle. Developing expertise.
  • Responding on the emails within maximum two working days.
  • Other tasks requested by the superior
  • Compliance with internal regulations, procedures, law and managers orders, including labor regulations, regulations on remuneration and other internal regulations in the company.

Education and Skills
  • University Graduate (transportation studies are preferable) or trained Forwarder - preferred
