Job summary

Deloitte Philippines is seeking a capable finance professional in Metro Manila to supervise staff and support accounting, tax and payroll activities. The role involves training, task assignment, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

You will build strong working relationships with clients and colleagues, assist in practice development, handle interviews with HR, and contribute to month-end activities, journal entries, and revenue analyses as part of deal support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy or equivalent.
• At least 4 years in tax, accounting and/or payroll work.
• Preferably CPA or other relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff: training, instruction, task assignment, review and discipline as needed.
• Build and maintain respectful client and team relationships; provide conflict resolution.
• Support practice development and marketing activities; assist HR with interviews.
• Handle journal entries, revenue adjustments, and prepare supporting documentation.
• Run revenue simulations, policy impact analysis, and assist deal structuring.
• Prepare financial reports, year-end closing, payroll-related reports as required.
