The role requires strong commercial leadership, deep knowledge of the Philippine fintech landscape, and proven ability to build relationships with regulators, financial institutions, and key stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or law; master's preferred.
• Filipino national with strong knowledge of the Philippine market.
• 8–15 years of progressive fintech/financial services or related experience.
• Experience in leadership, business development, government relations, partnerships, or strategic management.
• Strong understanding of the Philippine fintech and digital financial services ecosystem.
• Proven ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders and regulators.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional fluency in English; Mandarin preferred for regional HQ alignment.

Job Role

The Business Director - Philippines will be responsible for leading the company's overall business development and operations in the Philippines.

Working closely with the Board of Directors and regional/global leadership, the Business Director will act as the company's key representative in the local market and drive business growth, strategic partnerships, stakeholder relationships, and market expansion.

The ideal candidate will combine strong commercial leadership with a solid understanding of the Philippine fintech and financial services landscape.

• Proven ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders, business partners, government authorities, and industry leaders.
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional proficiency in English.
