A Business Development Manager (Export) must identify growth opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue through new client acquisition and market expansion. To blend a strategic thinking, relationship‑building, and sales expertise to help the company achieve long‑term success.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Market Research & Opportunity Identification: Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to uncover new business opportunities.
- Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients to drive business growth.
- Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales and business development strategies aligned with company goals.
- Proposal & Pitch Creation: Prepare compelling business proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to client needs.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations and close deals that deliver mutual value and long‑term partnerships.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure client expectations are met.
- Performance Reporting: Track and report on business development activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.
- Adherance to plan activities as well as government and other regulatory requirements
- To perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned to support the organization’s Mission, Vision, Objectives, Strategies and Core Values
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Graduate of Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
- Work Experience: 3-5 years’ experience in business development, sales and strategic partnership.
- Certification/License: CRM Proficiency (advantage but required).
