Job Description

The Business Development Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the timely deployment of telco facilities across strategic properties and corporate accounts. They oversee project scoping, feasibility, and execution, ensuring alignment with customer needs and company objectives. Additionally, they foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, drive revenue maximization, and facilitate technical discussions to optimize project outcomes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. STRATEGIC PLANNING AND EXECUTION:

  • Develop and execute work plans and programs for strategic property developer accounts to ensure on‑time, on‑scope, and on‑budget deployment, master planning, and future‑proofing of upcoming strategic properties.
  • Monitor and ensure project and program milestones are met, and provide mitigation plans for resolving partner dependencies to meet customer requirements on Day 1.
  • Anticipate and address potential internal and external factors that could impact the achievement of project and program objectives (e.g., consider LLTI in demand planning, active participation in government‑led or industry‑led collaborations to support legislative agenda for seamless facility build).
  • Provide insights and execution plans to the Business and other internal stakeholders on strategies that will lead to the business’s success.
  • Ensure completion of contracts for new telco facility builds in upcoming developments, monetization program agreements, MLA/SA for shared infrastructure. Contract creation will be managed by the BDMs, while execution and operationalization will be handled by Shared Services once the contract is signed.

2. FINANCIAL EFFICIENCY AND OPTIMIZATION:

  • Drive technical and commercial discussions with internal teams (NSSP, PDCM, Broadband, B2B, consumer business) and property developers to ensure that projects are well‑planned, feasible, cost‑efficient, and have future‑proof technical solutions.
  • Push for the use of shared infrastructure models and explore additional opportunities focused on reducing capital expenditure and operational costs while maintaining or improving service quality and customer experience.
  • Work with the business in creating and executing monetization programs that maximize revenue opportunities in developments with Globe facilities.
  • Work with internal stakeholders (TS&E, FBA, CLSG, Procurement) in establishing and improving processes that will improve operational execution (e.g., MDB management, PRPO issuance and monitoring, Shared Infra processes, RACI, etc.).

3. STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT:

  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with assigned Property Developer accounts’ working level and Key Decision Makers. Cultivate and sustain productive working relationships with the goal of achieving Globe’s best‑in‑industry NPS scores and to secure support to Globe advocacies (shared infra model, zero IBS lease).
  • Collaborate with internal partners (BB, B2B, Consumer, CXM) to develop effective and customized methods of working intended to deliver the desired product, service and customer experience on a B2B and B2C level.
  • Collaborate with internal squads and shared infra partners (INH) in meeting project milestones and addressing challenges to bridge any gap that hinders completion of projects/programs.

4. OTHERS:

  • Ensures that his/her individual development plan is updated, supported by compliance to scheduled coaching sessions and completion of prescribed trainings.
  • Use, maintenance and timely updating of designated systems and databases (SPBD MOR) that enable availability of relevant information to stakeholders.
  • Adherence to agreed Ways of Working.
  • Completion of assigned special projects of SPP1.
  • Adopt a tech‑co mindset, embrace Globe’s Digital for all mantra and leverage the Globe group’s portfolio to further increase value with business partners.
