JOB SUMMARY

The Business Analyst III will assist the operational business units by performing data analysis and identifying trends that will allow the business unit to improve business performance. This position will also be responsible for the consistency and integrity of data reported. This position works with all levels of management to determine reporting requirements. Communicates improvement opportunities or analysis directly to business unit leaders by drawing observations and making actionable recommendations to address operational challenges.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• 4 year college degree in applicable related field
• 3-5 years of data analytics and reporting experience
• Healthcare experience preferred

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE

• Proficient (intermediate to advanced skill level) with desktop applications such as Microsoft Office (VBA is a plus)
• Intermediate knowledge of SQL and ETL processes
• Intermediate knowledge of relational database management systems such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL Server, Microsoft Access, IBM DB2, Google Big Query or similar
• Basic to intermediate experience with Business Intelligence software such as Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy, or similar is a plus
• Experience with data science programming languages such as Python, R, Scala, or similar is a plus
• Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, Alteryx, or similar is a plus
